We supply antiquarian, out of print and recent railway, aviation, bus and tram related books and ephemera.  There are over 25,000 indiviudal items listed and this is added to daily.  

Our books are only available on this site as we do not list our stock through any third party.

Use our unique Category allocation to browse your area of interest or search directly for a book with the Search and Advanced Search facilities.  To search effectively for a specifc book, please use a minimum number of principal words in author or title to avoid minor differences in wording or format.

Orders are shipped world-wide and secure credit or debit card purchase facilities are offered online.  Alternatively, you may reserve your items and pay by UK cheque, postal order or bank transfer.

We despatch by UK Royal Mail or 24 hour courier.  Shipping charges are at cost and computed on weight of the items in your basket.  Royal Mail items are sent First Class signed-for in the UK and by Air Mail overseas.  Our courier rates are subsidised and provide excellent value for multiple purchases.

April 30, 2012 - the latest Royal Mail price increases come into force today.  These are significant, with rates for the common category of books weighing above 800g and delivered within the UK increasing by around 23%. 

We have extensively reviewed our postal rates and policies, including revisiting UK second class and parcel deliveries.  Our conclusion remains that first class is the best option as alternatives are restricted by weight and only offer relatively marginal savings, especially considering the reduction in service.  However, please conatct us if you wish us to investigate alternative rates for any order.

Many of our shipping rates have been maintained, while only part of the additional cost has been added to those charges where the rate of Royal Mail increase was particularly large.

For overseas customers we have introduced Surface Mail rates as a cheaper alternative.
