Autobiography of the Australian pioneer aviator who flew on active duty in both wars and made many exploratory flights in the 1930s and 1940s. He was made several record breaking flights, including those of the Southern Cross and Frigate Bird.

An Autobiography
Miles served in the Middle East with the RFC, flying Spads and Martinsydes, during WWI. After WWI he worked in the motor industry for the Nuffield organisation, was involved in WWII aero enigine production and became chairman of BOAC in 1949.
