Rivaz's account of Bomber Command in 1940 and 1941 flying Whitleys and Halifaxes. He was tail gunner to Leonard Cheshire and flew in night missions over targets such as Duisberg, Dusseldorf and Essen. Rivaz was killed in October 1945.
