Report on the Lewisham accident when a Cannon Street to Ramsgate train hauled by 34066 'Spitfire' collided with a stationary electric unit under a bridge in morning fog. The accident resulted in 90 deaths. Report includes photograph, drawing and plans.

Derailment of Britannia Pacific 70026 "Polar Star" hauling an excursion train from Treherbert to Paddington. Caused by excessive speed through a crossover, the engine and three coaches rolled down an embankment with 11 fatalities.
