Railway Accident - Report on the Derailment and subsequent Collision that occurred on 31st July 1967 at Thirsk in the Eastern Region, British Railways
Collision of King's Cross to Aberdeen express, hauled by DP2, with derailed wagons of a cement train hauled by D283. Seven passengers were killed and DP2 was damaged beyond repair, subsequently being scraped in 1970.
