Detailed locomotive study of Gresley's 'Hush-Hush' project to build a 4-6-4 4-cylinder compound locomotive. Completed in 1929, the engine was rebuilt in 1936 and finally withdrawn in 1959. A very fine study with photographs and data throughout.
