Railway Wonders of the World
Volumes 1 to 2 or 1 to 4
An early twentieth century review of railway infrastructure and motive power from across the world. Fine photographs throughout and including colour plates. First issued in 1913 as 24 fortnightly parts and bound in four volumes for subscribers. Subsequently reissued as a two volume set.
A follow-up work 'Railways of the World' was issued by Talbot in the early 1920's and the 'Railway Wonders of the World' title was used for similar volumes produced by Clarence Winchester in the 1930s - see separate listings for both.
